About CAMS
The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) is part of Copernicus, the European Union's Earth observation programme which looks at our planet and its environment for the ultimate benefit of all European citizens.
CAMS is implemented by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) on behalf of the European Commission.
To support EU Member States in extracting the maximum benefit from CAMS air quality products and services the CAMS National Collaboration Programme (NCP) was established. The overall objective is to make CAMS products available so that they are leveraged by expert users to cover “the last mile”, delivering high-quality and downscaled information at national level; addressing this key outstanding user requirement collected during the first phase of CAMS.
